Este hallazgo reabre el debate sobre si Marte pudo albergar vida en el pasado y acerca a\u00fan m\u00e1s a la ciencia a comprender c\u00f3mo surgi\u00f3 la vida en la Tierra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El papel del Curiosity en la exploraci\u00f3n marciana<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El r\u00f3ver Curiosity de la NASA, lanzado en noviembre de 2011 y aterrizado en el cr\u00e1ter Gale en agosto de 2012, tiene como objetivo principal determinar si Marte tuvo alguna vez condiciones adecuadas para la vida microbiana. Seg\u00fan Williams:<br>\u00abLa lluvia qu\u00edmica procedente de restos de meteoritos que tuvo Marte, es la misma que la que experiment\u00f3 la Tierra, y probablemente proporcion\u00f3 los componentes b\u00e1sicos para la vida tal y como la conocemos en nuestro planeta\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este paralelismo sugiere que los ingredientes esenciales para la vida podr\u00edan haber estado presentes en ambos planetas, aunque su evoluci\u00f3n haya sido diferente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La necesidad de traer muestras a la Tierra<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A pesar del avance, los cient\u00edficos a\u00fan no pueden determinar si estos compuestos org\u00e1nicos son resultado de procesos biol\u00f3gicos o geol\u00f3gicos. Para resolver esta inc\u00f3gnita, ser\u00e1 necesario traer muestras de Marte a la Tierra y analizarlas en laboratorio con mayor precisi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El experimento fue realizado mediante el instrumento SAM (An\u00e1lisis de Muestras en Marte), que descompone mol\u00e9culas complejas para facilitar su estudio.
